Mike Kennedy's New CD:

"A Dog's Life"

This album includes songs of the sea, Australian Outback ballads, drinking songs, and tributes to special people and places. Many of these songs are based on poems that I have adapted for singing while others are my original compositions.

Some songs are sung acapella while others are accompanied by guitar, banjo, fiddle, and washtub bass.

Special thanks to my friends Judy Barrows, Norris and Eli Dale, Alison Lee Freeman, Charlie Ipcar, Jeff Logan, and Pam Weeks who provided harmonies and instrumental support for this recording. And extra special thanks to my wife Chris Setari who has encouraged me to complete this project for so many years.

Most vocals and instruments were recorded direct to computer at the Ipbar Productions studio in Richmond, Maine, and edited with Adobe Audition.

Special thanks also to Brandon Pender who did the initial recording of the title track “A Dog’s Life” which launches this fine CD.
